Seamus Aidan Finnigan was so excited he could barely manage to contain it while he and Charlotte Aurelius enjoyed a quick dinner at The Leaky Cauldron before venturing out on their very special date.

Seamus was used to getting Quidditch tickets from his friends and acquaintances both in Diagon Alley and Kenmare. He was even used to getting tickets for the playoffs and the Quidditch Cup match. He was NOT used to getting tickets for his very favorite Irish group, U2. They were in London tonight for a very special limited one night concert. The venue, the Astoria Theatre, was not the stadium setting the band was used to playing; not at all. Tonight would be another scaled down concert given in a smaller venue to preceed their much anticipated Elevation Tour. The first one had been in New York. Tonight it was London. And Seamus Aidan Finnigan had two tickets. A friend from Dublin, a very well connected friend, had contacted Seamus earlier in the week, and he’d immediately journaled to Charlotte to save the seventh of February and come with him.

Seamus had tried to be calm and patient as they sat at a table at The Leaky Cauldron to eat some dinner before walking down Charing Cross Road to the Theatre. He was less than successful at it. He was fidgety, barely ate – which was not at all like Seamus A. Finnigan – and was most anxious to get there. Although why he should hurry when there was at least a first act to sit through, he could not have said. He was just too excited to be able to treat this as anything other than what it was, a once in a lifetime chance to see one of his favorite groups in a very small setting.

He waited until he thought Charlotte was completely finished with her meal before he spoke. Even then he had to restrain himself from jumping out of his chair. This was even bigger than a Weird Sisters concert!

As for Charlotte, he'd told her to dress casual and warm against the cold night, but had not told her where they were going. He'd wanted it to be a surprise. Now he realised the surprise might well be on him. Who knew if the French lass had any idea who U2 was? He ran his hand through his hair and hoped she would like this as much as he did...
